Qsymia is a prescription drug, you can not buy Qsymia without consulting your doctor first.
Qsymia is not sold in your regular pharmacy or drugstores. Also, you can’t purchase purchase Qsymia online. The only way to buy Qsymia is ordering it via mail order.
Where to get a prescription for Qsymia?
Many doctors will be informed about Qsymia by this time. Vivus Inc, the makers of Qsymmia, has already distributed educational materials about the product and how to use it.
They are also in San Antonio, Texas for the Obesity Society Scientific Week to meet up with doctors and present their REMS.
If you are a potential Qsymia patient your doctor will give you 2 Qsymia prescriptions:
- First is the 14 days stating dose of Qsymia containing 3.75 mg of Phentermine and 23 mg of Topimarate
- Then he will also issue a 30 day prescription for the Recommended Qsymia dose containing 7.5 mg of Phentermine and 46 mg of Topimarate.
- Patients can be given up to 5 refills
How to order Qsymia via mail order?
Your doctor will be the one to fill up the Qsymia Universal Fax Form and will send it together with your prescription to the Qsymia Home Delivery Network.
He can also give you your prescription and tell you to call the Qsymia Home delivery network.
Your Qsymia order will be processed by either CVS Pharmacy or Walgreens.
Take note, Qsymia is only available in the US. It is still not for sale in Canada, UK, Australia and other countries. It is also not available online and over the counter.
