How does LORQESS WORK?

LORQESS or Lorcaserin works as an appetite suppressant and makes people less hungry or helps them avoid cravings. As a direct result from eating less food and consuming lesser calories and fats, people who take Lorcaserin will lose weight over time.

LORQESS or Lorcaserin do its work on the brain. It is a 5-HT2C receptor agonist. The 5-HT2C receptors are responsible for a person’s appetite and certain moods. If these receptors are triggered, a person might feel sated, thus allowing him to eat less amounts of food over a period of time.

One of the main advantages of Lorqess over QNEXA and Contrave is its safety profile. FDA might approve Lorqess much sooner than Qnexa or Contrave because this new anti obesity drug and diet pill has lesser side effects.

• Vomiting
• Nasopharangitis

LORQESS or Lorcaserin is now FDA Approved. The approaval was given Wednesday, June 27, 2012.

It will be sold in its new brand name BELVIQ. BELVIQ is targeted to be available in drug stores and pharmacies in early 2013. Esai is the company tasked to market and distribute Belviq in the US market.
